We have a variety of databases that offer you access to journals that will be useful for your Museum Studies class. Remember when searching, Museum Studies is an interdisciplinary field so you may want to begin with a general GALILEO search or begin with an interdisciplinary database like JSTOR.

JSTOR
JSTOR provides access to back issues of core journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. The complete backfiles of these journals have been digitized, many of which began in the 1800s.

Museum, the Alliance’s award-winning magazine, addresses the issues and challenges facing museums today, and is a must-read for those who work for museums and those who love them. Oxford Art Online
Oxford Art Online provides access to a collection of art encyclopedias and image collections. Users can also choose to view biographies, subject entries, or images when searching or browsing. Content includes more than 23,000 subject entries, 21,000 biographies, 500,000 bibliographic citations, 40,000 image links, and 5,000 images. Thematic timelines and learning resources also provide users with tools for navigating the content.
