Solo role play games are games without a Game Manager, or others to play with. They include a creation element, a story you come up with, a randomization element, such as playing cards, tarot cards, dice, and a few prompts. These are usually games you can play in a short amount of time, usually 10-30 minutes. Some are considered micro-games, intended to be played in 5 minute bursts as you go about your day, others can go up to a few months dependent upon your preferred playing speed! Solo RPGs are a great way to focus your mind, relax, and create something.

Solo RPGs need a randomization tool. These are usually dice or a deck of playing cards, but can include specialized tarot cards, walks in nature, jenga, or other things. The solo RPGs featured here only need a deck of cards or dice. If you don't have those things at home, no worries! There are plenty of online options. Here are our favorites:
